Anthala is a big new project on Disc Realms Network and it feels like a towny style world that actually changes over time. The map is meant to evolve and a lot of what happens is based on player decisions so it is not just the same old towny loop.
The main thing is there are no resets so your town progress and world history sticks around for the long run. They push continuous updates so new stuff gets added instead of wiping everything.
It also leans hard into lore that is built by the players and the server. The economy matters a lot because the global market is a big deal and resources are tied to what players do. They even say you do not need a separate resource world since materials come from the economy and resource points on the main map.
They also claim zero pay to win so ranks do not give gameplay advantages. It supports both Java and Bedrock so more people can jump in together.
