Hello everyone! I am working on a new server as I haven’t really been able to find one that meets my needs. The general idea for the server is this: A factions server that starts small to incentivize PvP to battle over land and resources. As more players join, the world can be expanded. There will be no DynMap (etc.) or teleports. Players should expect to build large transportation structures and be able to defend them if they want to travel large distances. Exploration using in-game maps is heavily encouraged. Initially, the Nether and End will also be disabled. There will be no server shops, only player-built chest shops. No crates/keys or voting rewards. All items will be earned strictly by playing. Economy will be based off in-game items like emeralds or lapis.
I don’t plan on having a large spawn or crazy pre-built structures, but am happy to have some people help with building up the initial spawn point.

What is GlobalSphere?
GlobalSphere is a Minecraft server for both Bedrock and Java editions. It uses a map that includes Asia, parts of Africa, a sliver of Europe, and much of Oceania. The server itself runs on 1.20.4, and we will update to the latest version once all resources we use are stable (and we support the latest Bedrock edition). The server theme is set to the early 1900’s.The server itself is host to a friendly community of players that build great things.
