Rosedalean SMP is an 18 plus Minecraft server that feels really welcoming and calm. When I joined it felt like everyone already knew how to be nice and chill because of the application process. Trolls and griefers basically get filtered out.
The server feels like enhanced vanilla and kind of like a Hermitcraft style world. People build their own bases and projects but also work together a lot. There are factions you can join or create so you can try to be the strongest team or just make a cute little village with your animals.
They use add ons instead of full mods so you do not have to download anything extra. There is simple voice chat so talking and planning with other players is way easier. The world uses Terralith biomes so exploring new areas feels fresh and different.
There is a ticket system that is easy to use if you need help. They also have a BlueMap so you can see how the explored world looks and plan where to build next. The community likes to run events and they actually listen to suggestions so players can help shape how the server grows.
Overall it is a friendly survival server for adults who want a long term place to build and hang out without random chaos all the time.
