This is a small modded Java server that feels really cozy and chill. It is made for people who like survival and want extra depth without getting totally lost in a crazy modpack.

SurvivalMC is a semi vanilla survival server that runs on Minecraft 1.21.10 for both Java and Bedrock. It uses quality of life plugins and datapacks that try to keep the normal vanilla feeling but make the game smoother and less annoying.
The server has been around since July 21st 2020 and it aims to stay lag free and relaxed. From what I saw the community is pretty active and friendly and there are a lot of players hanging out and talking. The staff team is on a lot and they try to help as much as they can.
There is also a map you can look at using Bluemap so you can see the world from above and plan builds or just explore. The server recently had a grand reopening after taking a break so things feel fresh again and better organized for new and old players.
If you want a simple survival SMP that still feels like normal Minecraft but with a few helpful extras this server is a nice choice.

Everbloom SMP is a survival server that has two different worlds so you can pick how you want to play.
The standard SMP world is for players who like more intense survival. Farming is fully supported and redstone is allowed. You can even go on the nether roof. PvP and raiding are turned on so you always have to watch your back. The world has a 75k border and the server aims to stay lag free and stable.
The casual SMP world is way more relaxed. It is made for chill builders and explorers and anyone who just wants peaceful survival. There are custom terrains and structures but it still feels close to vanilla. PvP is off and there is no griefing and no raiding at all. You can just build and farm and create stuff with friendly players.

This server is called Prominence II Hasturian Era and it feels like a world with its own story.
When I joined it felt like a survival place where people care about the world and the time period they are in. The Hasturian Era name makes it feel like you are playing inside a chapter of a bigger history.
The community seems chill and focused on living in this era together. You work on your builds explore and try to fit into the theme of the server. It feels more like a long term world instead of a quick minigame.

The BoardWalk is a server that feels like a giant Minecraft computer that runs a bunch of different worlds. It is made so lots of people can find something they like and just hop in and play.
There are several main modes. There is lifesteal if you like more intense survival. There is normal vanilla if you just want classic Minecraft. There is a superflat world that is totally different from normal terrain. There is also a crazy 1 to 1 amplified world with biomes that feel real life sized and huge.
The server runs on Minecraft 1.21 and up. It is cross play so people on different platforms can join together. It is up 24 7 for five days every week so it works pretty well for people who play a lot.
