EclipsiaSMP is a modded Minecraft server that runs on version 1.20.1. The server is all about magic and dungeons and fighting modded bosses.
The world is built for exploring and upgrading your gear. The modpack is new and feels really focused so you are pushed to go on adventures instead of just sitting in one place.
The community is small but growing and it feels really chill. It is also LGBTQ+ friendly so a lot of different people can feel safe playing here.
This is Season 2 of the server. Some players survived Season 1 and are coming back and new players can join in too when the red moon rises.
From what I can tell people have already had a chaotic and funny time on Season 1 and they seem excited to start this new universe.

Rosedalean SMP is a new Minecraft survival server that is trying to grow a friendly community. It is an 18 plus whitelist server so it feels more safe and relaxed.
The server is enhanced vanilla and it uses add ons so you do not have to install mods. There is simple voice chat so talking with people is easy. There are Terralith biomes so exploring the world feels fresh and different. There is a ticket system to get help when you need it and a blue map so you can see how the world looks as people explore.
Players can join or make factions and either try to become the strongest team or just build cool bases together like a cute fairy village. There are events at least once a month and sometimes even more. The community seems very welcoming and likes new players and new ideas.
The owners say they take the community seriously and want suggestions so the server can keep improving. If you like survival with a friendly 18 plus group and you do not want a super old server this one feels like a good place to start fresh.

Chilltown is a survival SMP that feels really friendly and calm. It is made for people who like to explore and build and not rush everything.
The server uses seasons so the terrain changes every 90 days. This makes the world feel more alive and gives you new places to see. There are custom structures and custom biomes that look really cool and also give more loot.
There are custom mobs and custom enchants so the game is more unique and a bit more challenging but it is not super punishing. You still feel like you can play at your own pace.
You claim land with chunks so you do not need to use a golden shovel. There is a daily rewards system and a community chest that help players out.
The people on the server are friendly and there is a focus on not being pay to win. Everyone can just play together and have fun without needing to buy advantages.
