HermitiaSMP is a small survival server that feels a lot like Hermitcraft and it really cares about community and working together.
The server runs weekly events that can be in game or in real life or even art competitions so new players get pulled into the group really fast and do not feel left out.
There is optional proximity voice chat so you can talk to people who are near you in game instead of just typing all the time.
The world has event houses and community builds where you can join a house and earn points for it so it feels like a fun team thing and not just solo grinding.
They use a custom HermitiaSMP datapack and quality of life mods that still keep it feeling like vanilla but add some extra nice stuff.
To keep the world safe from trolls they have anti grief plugins like CoreProtect so you can actually build without worrying.
There is also a server news service so players can keep up with what is going on and a player ran roleplay government so people who like RP and politics in game can join in.
Server lore is being worked on and is coming soon so the world will have more story and history as the season goes on.
