Harvest SMP is a semi vanilla survival server that feels like a chill Hermitcraft style world that just started a new season so everyone is still pretty fresh.
The server is trying to build a really good relationship between the players and the admin team so it feels fair and fun for everyone. It uses a bunch of quality of life datapacks like better AFK display fast leaf decay multiplayer sleep double shulker shells armor stand posing and some small crafting tweaks. There are also things like miniblocks vault restocks and the dragon dropping an elytra and egg.
They usually build a shopping district a minigame district and even a casino style area. The server likes to host events like minigame nights and building contests to decorate spawn and people just hang out a lot.
This season they are taking it slow on progression and they even block off the End for a while so new players do not feel super behind. They have optional mods like a world map a custom head shop and a status mod for content creators.
The community is pretty mature with players from around 18 to over 50 and they welcome all building styles and skill levels as long as you want to be part of a friendly survival world.

Harvest SMP is a semi vanilla survival server that feels a lot like Hermitcraft. It uses simple quality of life datapacks and very few mods so the game still feels like normal Minecraft.
The server is at the very start of Harvest Season 5. The admins want the world to last a long time and they are blocking off The End for a while so new players do not feel super behind. This makes progression slower and gives everyone time to build up together.
The community is made of mature players and they accept all kinds of build styles and experience levels. People on here like to hang out and work on shared areas like a shopping district plus a minigame district and a casino district. There are events for minigames and building contests to make spawn look cool.

HorizonCraft Minetopia is a server where everything is about building, adventure and hanging out with other players. It feels like a big world where you can make your own story and do your own thing.
When I joined I saw that the world is pretty detailed with cities, villages, forests and mountains. It looks like people really took their time to make it nice so you always have somewhere new to explore.
The server has its own economy and jobs. You can earn money, buy a house and even start your own business on the server. It really feels like a little Minecraft world with its own life.

Konohaven SMP Season 4 is a chill survival server that feels like a small friend group hanging out.
The server runs Java 1.21.8 with Fabric and is mostly vanilla. There is no flying no teleport commands and no paid ranks. It is set to hard difficulty but it still feels cozy because fire tick enderman griefing and phantoms are turned off. There is single player sleep so nights go by fast when someone goes to bed.
There is a diamond based player shop economy where people can make their own stores and set their own prices. The staff only step in if things get toxic. There is a live map and some quality of life mods and you can use the Simple Voice Chat mod if you want but you do not need any mods to join.
The community is the main focus. People hang out in voice chat do Minecraft events karaoke nights holiday events and community build projects. There are custom items and hat models with a lightweight resource pack so some rewards look unique but the pack is optional.
You can play together in groups or just do your own solo thing. Players are mostly from the US Canada and Europe so there is usually someone around to talk to or trade with. The server uses BlazeandCave's Advancements so there are tons of extra goals to chase and ways to show off what you did.

Ethis is a semi vanilla SMP that feels a lot like a small Hermitcraft style world. It runs on Fabric 1.21.10 and it is based in Germany.
The community has been together for around five years. People know each other well and new players get welcomed into that group. Some players like huge projects and redstone builds. Others just like to mess around and hang out. You do not have to be super good at the game. You just have to be kind and open.
The server uses a voice chat mod so you can just walk up to someone talk for a bit then run off again. It makes meeting people less awkward and makes random moments a lot more funny.
The gameplay is kept simple and close to vanilla. There is no land claiming no teleport commands and no home commands. You actually travel to people and builds which makes the world feel connected.
They host events and game nights both in game and on Discord. When players feel burned out they can still join for a game night and stay in touch.
To join you need to fill out a real application. After that they do a short voice call just to make sure everyone fits and to keep out toxic players. It sounds scary at first but it is just there so the server stays friendly and chill.
