Crowns and Kings is a skill based sandbox MMO style SMP on a huge epic map. You can play how you want and still feel like you are progressing the whole time.
You can level up a bunch of different MMO skills and your health scales up as you get stronger. There are custom coded bosses and dungeons with exclusive rewards and crate keys so you always have something to chase.
The economy is a big deal here with shops an auction house and a player run market. You can also party up with friends and level together.
The wild twist is the monarchy system. The King is a real player and the crown is a real prize. If you find and slay the current King you take the title and their land claims and you can zone their kingdom. It is an optional side goal but it creates a constant power struggle in the background.
