Rosedalean SMP is a newer Minecraft survival world that is trying to grow and find more people. It feels like a small community where everyone actually talks and helps each other.

The server is 18 plus and it is whitelisted so you have to apply before you can join. It runs with add ons instead of mods so it still feels like vanilla but with extra stuff. There is simple voice chat so people can hang out and talk while they play.

The world uses Terralith biomes so exploring looks way more interesting. There is a blue map so you can see what the explored world looks like and plan where to go next. They also use an easy ticket system so you can ask for help when you need it.

There are different factions you can join or you can make your own team. You can try to be the strongest group on the server or just build a cute village together. They do events like a colosseum battle arena and even a Secret Santa event so it is not just basic survival.

Stonehaven SMP is a small chill Minecraft server that just got a fresh reset and is trying to grow a friendly community. People join and play at their own pace and most just like to build talk and hang out together.

The server runs on Minecraft 1.21.1 with Fabric and it uses only a few quality of life mods. There is in game voice chat so players can talk while they play. There is land claiming so your base is safe and you can even fly inside your claim which makes building big projects a lot easier.

The world has upgraded terrain and structures so places like the Nether the End villages mansions temples strongholds and more feel new and different. Trees can be chopped down in one go. There are backpacks decorations furniture custom bridges doors and windows. There are also waystones and towers to help with traveling and chests around the world restock after some time.

Players can build alone or make new friends or even try to speed run. The whole point is to have a relaxed place to play and the owner is open to adding more mods if the players ask for them.

I found this server called EternalSMP and it is a simple survival world that feels like normal Minecraft. It is vanilla style so there are no crazy plugins or roleplay stuff.

The main difference is the world terrain looks better and there are more biomes. Exploring is a big part of it and the world feels fun to run around in.

You can make a team with friends build a base and trade with other players. People can fight and even have wars if they want. You are not allowed to grief bases but you are allowed to steal loot so you still have to protect your stuff.

The owner wants it to stay small like around 15 to 20 players. They just want some people who will play often and see if it can turn into a long term SMP. It feels like a chill place if you like survival and a bit of PvP without scripts or roleplay.

Apathesia is a modded Minecraft server that is about being chill and friendly. The server is around two months old and already has a small group of regular players who like to hang out and play together.

The mods focus on better world generation and some quality of life stuff. There is also proximity voice chat so talking in game feels more natural. The cool thing is the mods are server side only so you do not need to download any big modpack to join. You only need a voice chat mod if you want to use voice and that is not required to play.

The server is not cracked and has no mtx no gambling no crates and none of that annoying pay to win stuff. The owner says they try not to over moderate and just keep the vibe relaxed and chill.

To join you read the info about mods and commands then you do a quick auto whitelist process by following the rules. The owner is usually fast to answer questions in dms so it is easy to get help if you need it.

This is a new SMP that started not long ago and it has a cool idea. You can either join the normal pvp side or you can declare yourself peaceful. Peaceful players cannot be griefed or stolen from and they are not part of the pvp scene.

The server runs in hard mode and has a world border from minus 4k to plus 4k. It uses custom terrain generation with tectonic and terralith and all the chunks are already preloaded so exploring feels smooth.

There are a bunch of quality of life tweaks. Only one player needs to sleep to skip the night. Minecarts go super fast at 90 meters per second and use the new experimental physics. You can sit on stairs. Enderman and ghast griefing is turned off and phantoms are disabled.

You can silk touch spawners and also silk touch amethyst buds. Ender pearls are disabled so movement feels different. The server uses purpur software to run everything.

If you like survival with some custom changes and the option to stay peaceful this server feels like a good mix of calm and danger.

This is a whitelisted 1.21.10 semi vanilla server called Kingdoms. It is all about player driven politics and big geopolitical roleplay between different kingdoms.

The server has a custom mod that lets you actually create a kingdom and use special roleplay commands. You can change your identity in the tab list and in chat so you can really feel like a different character when you play.

There is also voice chat which makes roleplay and diplomacy way more fun. The terrain is improved so the world looks cooler. They also use Carpet Mod and everyone can use the player command.

In pvp there is a 24 hour ban if you die so fights actually matter and people have to think about what they are doing. The server keeps all normal vanilla game mechanics and they even bring back stuff like string duping void trading and update suppression.

Overall it feels like a serious roleplay world where players control the story and where every kingdom and decision actually matters.
