Some Background Lore

Tucked far from our cities that claw at the skies, hidden beneath dense, ancient forests, lies The Monolith. Not a tower, but a huge, shifting mass of runic chains that spiral endlessly into the heavens.

The chains seem unending, and are known to be immune to all means of damage, magical or physical.
Within the walls of The Monolith lies The Garden of Eden, an eternal land untouched by time. Despite its age, the origin and purpose of The Monolith stays a mystery, even after being studied for centuries by scholars, archmages, and relic-hunters.

Due to its strange nature, wild tales have spun. Some say The Monolith protects something. Others claim it’s a prison, or even a natural fountain of magic energy.

Two facts have been found since its first study over 4,000 years ago:

• The chains let you enter The Garden, but do not let you leave.
• Yet, that does not stop folks from going in.
  Be it curiosity, foolishness, or just wanting to escape the world.

About the Server

This is a server with 3+ years of know-how. The team knows how to deal with all kinds of stuff.
