The Garden is a semi vanilla survival multiplayer server that tries to keep the normal vanilla feel but still adds extra features to make it more fun.
It supports crossplay between Java and Bedrock Edition but Java is recommended for the best experience.
The community is meant to be close and friendly and they say they shut down toxicity or drama fast. People are pushed to work together on stuff like towns and shopping areas and there are sometimes events with prizes. They also support the Simple Voice Chat mod.
The server rules are clear about no hacking no griefing no stealing and no nonconsensual PvP.
There is an economy with ranks that you earn in game and it is not pay to win. Money can be made from jobs and from milestones and tasks or by running a shop. Other features mentioned include McMMO skills art maps and resizing your character. They are also running a Valentines build competition where you rent a plot and judges pick the top 3 builds for prize packs.
