Broken Crown is a towny server that is all about geopolitics and big Minecraft nations. The server is planned to open on January 1st 2026 so it is still being worked on right now.
The main idea is to build towns and nations then use strategy and war if you want. PVP is turned on by default so danger is always there. The server uses the towny outlaw system as a kind of police so enemies and criminals can be hunted in a more organized way.
The map is an Earth map that is about 30k by 15k and it is already populated so there are real spots to fight over and claim. There is a brewery plugin so you can make drinks. The economy is based on diamonds so diamonds actually matter a lot. Crops grow in a more realistic way so farming feels different and more serious.
There is also a dynamic map so you can see the world from your browser. The owner says the server will be compatible with both Java and Bedrock. More features might get added before launch but the core is towny nations PVP and wars that you can choose to join or avoid.

This is a long term survival server that is meant for people who like slow and steady progression and a world that sticks around.
The server runs Java 1.20.2 and you do not need any extra downloads which is nice if you just want to hop in and play.

This server feels like old Minecraft and I kind of love it. It runs an iron based economy so iron is like the money here. You can use it to open your own shop and sell blocks you have a lot of.
You can also start your own village if you save up 300 iron. When you get your village your blocks get protected so griefers do not wreck your stuff. It makes building a base or a whole town way less scary.
