    I found a new Towny server called GamerHub Towny and it is built around towns and a small friendly community. The big thing is it has no resets so your builds can stay.

    Griefing and stealing are not allowed so it feels safer to play. A lot of the players are from Oceania and the US and people are ready to help new players.

    It has ingame ranking that uses ingame money and it also has Dynmap so you can see the world. There are player warps and player shops plus a sell only server shop. It also has Jobs and MCMMO.

    It usually has a few players on but it gets more active when the owner streams and it can hit 8 or more online. The server supports version 1.21.10 or similar and it also has a Bedrock port.

    CryoMC Chill Economy Survival SMP

    CryoMC is a chill survival world where people just want to hang out and play together. It is an economy style SMP that is all about the community and working together.

    The server is no grief so you do not have to worry about your builds getting destroyed. There is grief prevention to keep your stuff safe. Keep inventory is on so you dont lose your items when you die which makes it feel way less stressful.

    There are plugins that add simple features like player warps and chest shops. You can make your own shop and be part of the server economy. The plugins still keep the normal Minecraft feeling so it does not feel too crazy.

    This server lets both Java and Bedrock players join. It also supports all versions so almost anyone can log in and play.

    If you want a relaxed SMP where you can get comfy help shape a new world and just vibe with other chill players this is the kind of server it is.

    This is a space themed Prison server that is built to feel fresh and still keep the classic Prison grind. When you join you can mine rank up and prestige like normal but the world has a cool outer space style.

    The server has seasonal buycraft payouts so the top players get rewards every season. There are custom interactive puzzles you can solve which makes it more than just breaking blocks all day. You can also join cells which are like gangs and team up with other players to climb the leaderboard together.

    There are raids where you join other players and fight custom coded bosses. It feels like a big group battle instead of just mining alone. All the usual Prison stuff is here like mines ranks prestiges economy and enchants but it is mixed with new ideas so it feels competitive and unique.

    Right now it is in Beta 3.0 which released on 01 17 2026 so things are still getting updated and tested while people play.

    This is a new survival server that already feels pretty active. It has an economy with jobs and player shops so you can make money and trade with other players.

    This is a small semi vanilla server that I found. It runs on 1.12 but you can join on other versions too so it is easy to hop on.

    The only plugin you will really notice is an economy plugin. So it still feels like normal Minecraft survival but with money and trading. There is not a ton of extra stuff or crazy mods.

    Most of the time there are around 5 to 10 players online every day. It feels like a smaller chill community where people can actually recognize each other.

    This is a brand new SMP called New Warriors SMP and it is all about PvP survival. It feels like a fresh world where everyone is just starting out.

    The server has an auction house so players can sell stuff to each other using in game cash. There are bounties too so you can hunt down players and get paid for it which makes PvP way more exciting.

    You can set homes and there are team ports so you can move around and play with your friends easier. It seems like a place for people who like fighting surviving and making money all at the same time.

    The owner is looking for people who are interested in joining and building up the server from the very beginning.

    All Outta Blocks 18+ Proximity SMP

    This is a community centered survival server that is made by the players for the players. It feels like a big friend group where people also play games outside of Minecraft.

    The server is based on a Hermitcraft style SMP. There is a diamond economy with a shopping district and lots of public builds and projects. Most players use proximity chat so talking to people nearby feels natural and fun.

    There are homes and player warps plus some cosmetic and quality of life plugins. New plugins get added from community requests and from polls so the server grows in the direction the players want.

    The goal is to keep a vanilla style experience but still be able to expand and add features if the community chooses. It is Java only and runs on Minecraft 1.21.11. The server is whitelisted and for 18+ players only.

    There are usually around 10 to 25 players online and an active group of about 120 people. They are always looking for more players and they sound really welcoming.

    The world is getting a full reset and a new map so everyone can start fresh together. The server runs a player made economy with shops trading and virtual money so people can sell stuff they grind for.

    The server is based on trust. There are no land claims. People just respect builds and that is a main rule. There is no pvp so you do not have to worry about getting killed by other players.

    Both Java and Bedrock players can join so more friends can play together. There is no whitelist so you can just hop in and start playing. During busy times there are usually a bunch of people online so it does not feel empty.

    If you want simple survival with a strong community and no griefing this server fits that really well.

    The server is very player driven. You can make your own player shops and set up warps so people can visit your base or your store. It makes the world feel lived in because everyone builds their own little area.

    You can claim your land so random people do not wreck your builds. There are teams you can form with friends so you can build and survive together without worrying about grief.

    There are custom items rankups and spawner leveling so there is always something to work toward. It helps the game stay interesting even when you already have good gear.

    The community seems super welcoming and they are clearly looking for more people to join and hang out.
