This is a geopolitical Earth server where towns fight over real life regions for resources. Iron gold and diamonds only come from certain areas so you have to claim the right land to get them. Mining is done with open pit style digging so everyone can see what you are taking.
It runs on Towny and your town needs different resources to keep going. Small towns can survive with simple stuff like iron but bigger towns need more types. Gold matters and oil is a custom drop that only shows up in specific zones.
The economy feels serious because players can make shops and also deal with loans. If you want to start a war you can raise money with a war bond then try to siege rivals and take their land. There is a dynamic server shop too so people can mess with prices and even try to short the market.
