I found this server called Creative Central and it feels like a big worldbuilding project that turned into a Minecraft network.
The server has two main game modes right now. One is Creative Plots where you get a huge 512×512 plot. You get free WorldEdit and they barely limit commands and blocks so you can really go crazy with building. They also give you access to a head database and armor stand tools for free so you can decorate and do detailed builds without paying.
