EchelonMC is a hand built survival server that was made from scratch and kept in active development. It is hosted in Canada and it has had about two months of work put into it so far. The owner builds it around player suggestions and over 100 of those ideas are already in.
This server is for long term building and real progression. It is not pay to win and the world is not planned to reset. It also is not trying to be a recycled server with copy paste systems.
There are custom coded systems like a currency you earn by just playing. Mining farming fishing exploring and building all help you earn it and you can spend it on progression and quality of life stuff.
Land claiming is a big deal here with visual borders and lots of settings. It can help stop raids and protect builds with controls for TNT creepers fire fluids and even mob spawning. You can also do things like chunk settings claim decay and claim bundling for big projects.
You can make teams and use private team chat. You can also list public builds so other players can visit and vote. Graves are included too so your items are protected for a limited time with balanced recovery.

GlowSMP is a newly released Vanilla plus SMP that runs on 1.21 to 1.21.10 and it supports both Java and Bedrock.
It is made for players who want to build grind or just chill with other people. Claims are turned on so you do not have to stress about griefing.
The server adds a bunch of quality of life stuff like voice chat and messages better harvesting chest sorting a gradient tool graves and a live map.
There is also custom fishing with lots of new fish you can sell for money plus tracking and a fisherman leaderboard. You can find special enchantment books that help with building and gathering like taking down a whole tree at once or getting haste for mining.
Jobs are active for most actions so you earn experience and money as you play and there are clean leaderboards. There is also a centralized storage network where you can make a terminal in your base and hook up chests to it for easy searching and storing.
