This server is called BareBonesMP and it has a special Hardcore Plus world that uses custom health. Every time you die you lose one heart until you are down to only three hearts. If you want your hearts back you have to craft a Heart Crystal with an echo shard and a diamond block. Using a Heart Crystal gives you one heart and you can even go above ten hearts all the way to twenty. The extra hearts are temporary so when you take damage they disappear first.
The gameplay is basically vanilla. There are no teleport commands and all the normal block damage is on like fire spread and creeper explosions. It is not an anarchy server because stealing and griefing are not allowed.
BareBonesMP is a community that started in 2019 and it feels like the old classic Minecraft servers. People compare it to Hermitcraft since it is whitelisted and focused on a close community. They host events every weekend and there are mayor elections every month. There is also an optional cozy modded server and another hardcore server.
The server runs all the time on a dedicated machine so it does not lag. It has some quality of life plugins like statistic leaderboards sleep at fifty percent and tools for armor stands and heads. The community is active and they use proximity voice chat and linked chat between game and discord. They also do community events and giveaways every month and the map was reset on August 10th 2025.
