I found a brand new 18 plus SMP called Caelum and it is built around lore roleplay and exploring a strange universe between dimensions.
Everyone starts together and the world is mostly a blank slate. There are a few lore prebuilds already and they are there to help set the vibe.
You can make a character from any universe and write your own origin story. You can also pick any race or species you want.
It is modded survival with Origins plus some furniture stuff and Epic Knights. There are puzzles to solve and secrets to find. It also has proximity voice chat and they have extra voice rooms too.
