TopazEarth is a peaceful Earth Towny SMP where players just want to build and relax. It runs on Java 1.21.8 and uses a giant 1 to 543 scale Earth map so the world actually looks like the real planet.
The server is all about building and diplomacy instead of fighting. There is no war system and no wilderness PvP. You can only fight in arenas so no one can randomly kill you while you are working on your base. This makes it feel super safe if you just want to focus on towns and projects.
There are regular building competitions and events so there is always something to do. The staff and development team are active and keep the server updated with new stuff. There is a 3D live map so you can see the world and plan where you want to build.
The economy is based on gold and players can trade using chest shops. The map does not reset so anything you build is meant to stay on the server. The map is still pretty fresh and there are no giant nations taking all the land so new players still have room to claim cool spots.
The server rules lean toward chill vibes and a friendly and welcoming community. It recently came out of beta and already has a small but active group of players who like relaxed diplomacy style gameplay and long term building.

Geopol Reforged 1.20.1 is a modded Java server that brings back the old Geopol style of play with a new twist. It is built around historical themed time periods so it feels like you are playing through different eras but in Minecraft.
The server is all about player driven nations and politics. Players control the economy and create their own countries. There are warfare systems so battles actually matter and there are server wide events that bring everyone into the action. You can roleplay if you want or just play normally.
The world is not an Earth map. It uses terrain generation mods so the map feels fresh and custom. There is PvP and warfare is allowed but random griefing that is not allowed by the rules is not ok. Netherite gear and better is part of the game. There are guns but they are toned back so it is not totally crazy.
There is some server lore and the community is meant to be 16 and older. The server and the discord are still in the startup phase so things are being tested and adjusted. The owners are also looking for admins playtesters and mods to help shape the server.

Atlas SMP is a survival multiplayer server that puts you on a huge replica of planet earth. The world is built at a 1 to 500 scale so you can explore real locations but in Minecraft size. It feels really cool to walk across countries and oceans and actually recognize the shapes.
The server runs Towny with extra addons so players can make towns and nations. You can claim land build cities and form big countries with other players. Nations can work together or turn into rivals so there is a lot of drama and politics between groups.
Atlas has its own economy. You can earn money by doing quests getting jobs and trading with other players. You can also trade between towns and whole countries and try to control the market if you get rich enough.
There is warfare and trade so you can declare war start sieges and try to become a military power. Or you can focus on trading and be the person who runs a giant trading empire instead. There is a lot of roleplay too since players make their own lore and history for their towns and nations.
The server is hosted on strong hardware so it is lag free and runs 24 7. You can just join and start playing because there are no applications needed.
