Infinity Isles is a Java SMP that is mostly vanilla and runs on trust. The community is big on being welcoming and inclusive and a lot of players are LGBTQ+. You need to be mature 18+ and respectful so everyone can chill and have a safe time.
It has some quality of life stuff like proximity chat GSit rapid leaf decay and no mob griefing. There is a diamond economy and a HermitCraft like shopping district where people set up stores and trade.
Players also get resource worlds that reset about once a month so you can gather materials without wrecking the main area. They run weekly events like Survival Games Spleef and build battles. There is also a whole Game District where players can build their own minigames and casinos.
They take donations for server upkeep but they say nothing is pay to win. Staff is usually around to answer questions and keep things friendly. The server is currently running on version 1.21.11 Java only.

Pandamium runs an experimental vanilla SMP that updates to new snapshots and keeps the newest stuff coming fast. It is made for players who want to try brand new features early and talk about what is changing while playing.
The server aims to update every time a new snapshot drops and it uses experiments like game drops minecart improvements and the villager rebalance. They also do Minecraft Live watch parties twice a year and they recently moved to the 26.1 snapshots with new baby models golden dandelion craftable name tags and more.
The community is friendly and there are multiple towns you can join plus a diamond based trading economy. The server averages around 10 players online. The End gets reset every month for fresh end cities and there is an enhanced dragon fight once per month with a dragon egg prize but they try to never reset the overworld and nether.
Most features are done with data packs and they also use a couple small performance mods plus a mod that links Discord chat with Minecraft. You can use tpa homes and mailing. There is parkour ranks mini blocks mob heads for every mob and lots of custom advancements.
