ShovelCraft is a semi vanilla SMP that is all about building together and letting the world history grow over time. People make towns and alliances and even have conflicts that turn into stories.
The world is split into two zones. The Green Zone is from 0 to 5k and it has no PvP and no stealing and no griefing. It also has no generated structures so it feels like it is made for builders and trade and lore. The Red Zone starts at 5k and beyond and it has PvP on and stealing is allowed and vanilla structures are there for exploring. Griefing is still not allowed so fights are more organized.
The End is disabled so there are no elytras and no shulker farms. Travel matters more and you move by land and sea and the Nether.
This server is meant to last with no planned resets. The economy uses diamonds. Teams can level up by using diamonds and unlock perks like extra warps shared storage and more member slots. There are also seasonal competitions with lore based rewards like armor trims and shulker boxes. It runs on version 1.21.11 and supports both Java and Bedrock.

Banana Sandwich SMP is a Java 1.21.11 survival server that feels like a real community. People here actually talk and know each other. It is 18+ and the vibe is chill and collaborative.
They use proximity voice chat and it is required. It makes everything feel more alive and it turns random moments into real conversations.
Season 3 is about a month and a half in so the early game rush is done. You join a stable world with good infrastructure and active shops. There is a safe Mushroom Island hub at spawn and a permanent memorial build too because the server came together after losing a member.
The economy is diamond based with a thriving shopping district. There is a Bluemap so you can watch the world change. The End opens in two weeks and the dragon drops elytra so it stays fair. They also have fun creative freedom stuff like invisible item frames custom armor stands and the ability to sit or ride.
