The Dead City – a Zombie Apocalypse SMP

The year is 20–. A plague has destroyed humanity.

When the disease first appeared, medical researchers and governments attempted to keep the disease controlled, hiding those infected away from the public eye. Their efforts were futile though, as the disease soon breached containment and spread across the globe like wildfire.

Those who were affected became a reincarnation of the living dead – the flesh rotted off their bodies, their muscles deteriorated, and they began to consume human flesh. The disease spread through saliva, infecting the bitten victims by leaking its bacteria into their bloodstreams.

Those who could afford to, built bunkers to shelter in. Others stockpiled weapons and hoarded food. Some killed themselves, knowing that the alternative would be far worse.

In a last desperate effort to prevent the virus from spreading out from the most densely populated areas, larger cities were bombed, some being razed to the ground.

You miraculously survive the virus, you hide and survive the bombings, and now you emerge into a completely different world. Your new goal is to continue to survive…and maybe find other survivors along the way.

The server modpack contains 41 mods and 1 resource pack. Your computer needs to be able to run these in order for you to participate.

The version of Minecraft the SMP runs is 1.19.2.
