HermitiaSMP is a small survival server that feels inspired by Hermitcraft and it is on a vanilla plus style. The server is all about a tight community and doing cool events together both in Minecraft and outside of the game.
There are weekly events that keep things from getting boring. Some are in game and some are real life stuff and even art competitions. There are also special Christmas events so it feels super festive during the holidays.
Players can use optional proximity voice chat so you can talk in game if you want or stay quiet if you do not. There are event houses and community builds so you can join a house and try to earn points for it and build together.
The server uses a custom HermitiaSMP datapack and some quality of life mods that add unique features. There are anti grief plugins like CoreProtect so your builds stay safe and you can relax more.
There is also a server news service and something called server royalty so it feels like a little world with its own stuff going on. Server lore is coming soon so it seems like they plan to grow the story over time.
To join you are supposed to get into the community first and then you can start playing and make your mark on HermitiaSMP.

Canopy is a semi vanilla survival server that feels a lot like Hermitcraft. The players like to work together on big builds towns and events. Most people are in their early to mid twenties so the vibe is more grown up but still really chill.
The server runs hard mode survival and it is on version 1.21.10. It uses Paper and only a few plugins that do not change the vanilla feel. There is no teleport and no land claim so it still feels like real Minecraft. They also use some datapacks like armor stand tweaks mob head drops and invisible item frames.
There is a soft world border at 8k blocks. You can go past it but the outside area might be reset later for new content. Inside the main area there are community builds like a shopping mall a campground and shared farms. There is also a dynamic online map so you can see builds almost in real time.
The community likes to host fun events most weeks. Right now they are doing a Christmas building event where players make holiday themed builds and help build a new town. Everyone who joins the event and participates gets a Christmas themed hat in game.
Overall the server feels relaxed and low stress. People hang out joke around and get to know each other while playing. If you want a friendly survival world that focuses on collaboration and building this server fits really well.

Draconicraft is a semi vanilla SMP for adults who just want to play Minecraft and chill. It runs on Java and it uses a whitelist so the people who join actually want to be there.
The world has a 20k border and the owner does not like resets. Instead the world gets expanded when new updates come out. That means you can work on huge builds and crazy farms without worrying that everything will get wiped next month.
The server tries to feel like normal survival but with a few plugins and datapacks that make life easier. There are things like custom armor stands, custom nether portals, more mob heads, mini blocks, multiplayer sleep, player head drops and some anti grief stuff for dragons and endermen. There is also a way to talk in voice chat in game so it is easier to hang out with other players.
The community is 18 plus and pretty relaxed. People come from different countries and they use English in public chat and on the main discord. On voice chat you can speak other languages as long as you stay respectful and switch when someone joins who does not understand.
