Bramble SMP is a modded Java roleplay SMP where you pick who you are and then live it out in game. You can be a human elf dwarf goblin or something else and you can follow gods or make your own path.
People can play it super deep with character stuff or just chill like a normal SMP with building farming and exploring. The world vibe is medieval fantasy and players can make towns form alliances or even start wars.
There is currency so players can earn money open shops trade and hire other players. You can also protect your land using claims. It is whitelist only and you get in by submitting a character.
The server has lore too about two divine siblings and a realm called Bramble where souls get judged. One day the god of death vanished and now the balance is broken and the mystery is part of the story.

Loop de Loop is a fresh SMP that is trying to grow a real community. It feels like normal survival but with a lot of extra stuff added on.
You can pick an elemental race like Fire Air Earth or Water and each one has its own passive effects stats and specialty items. It makes choosing your play style feel like a big deal right away.
The world is not normal either since it uses Terralith Nullscape and Structory. That means more biomes to run into and more structures to find while you explore.
There are custom mobs that still feel pretty vanilla like goblins and haunted armor plus elite mobs with special abilities that drop extra resources. They also plan to add minibosses and bosses later.
If you like upgrading gear there are over 80 custom enchantments and you can get them with the enchanter command. The server also has an economy with a shop auctions and even useful commands you can buy like workbench and disposal.
For building and safety you can claim land with a gold shovel. You can buy and sell claim blocks and also get them from voting and daily logins and your first vote gives you 100 free claim blocks.

Loop de Loop is a fresh Minecraft SMP that is trying to grow a real community. It is on Java 1.21.11 and it feels like survival but with a lot more stuff to mess with.
The big thing here is the elemental race system. You can pick Fire Air Earth or Water and each one has a passive effect plus different stats and special items. It makes everyone feel different when you are exploring or fighting.
The world is also not normal since it uses custom generation with Terralith Nullscape and Structory. So you get new biomes and lots of structures to go hunt down.

Eternal Ascension is a Minecraft server that is all about kingdoms roleplay and big power growth. It feels like your choices matter because players can rise up in rank and influence over time.
Kingdoms are rp based and the vibe is that you can try almost anything. If you get enough worshippers you can become a god and build up godpower so you can rule over other players.
There are lots of different species with custom coded abilities. Some examples are dragonborne with stronger dragon breath. Veil weavers that can make gates to anywhere. Vampires that can drain health with hits.

The story is set in the year 1710. People are leaving their broken homes to look for a place not damaged by the same thing that is destroying everything. Your character is one of many trying to learn what is happening and find answers.
There are 9 official races with their own history and culture like Man Elves Fae Were folk Dryads Gulls Gnomes Unmarked. The different groups are separated by borders but they have to work together to survive and figure it all out.
Delve does not use classes. It uses a big skill tree with 183 skills so characters can feel really different from each other. The official server is not open yet but the community just launched.

Hallowed Vale is a modded Minecraft server with longer progression and a big focus on roleplay and lore. The world has continents and the lore connects to lots of parts of the server so it feels like you are inside a story.
Players can pick from a bunch of custom origins and there are 17+ options listed like Aqualian Abysstouched Vulpine Cervan and Starling. The roleplay is interactive and player actions can change the lore which makes choices feel important.
The server uses mods like Create and Origins plus dungeon and exploration mods. It also includes Cataclysm Integrated Dungeons and Structures Dungeons Enhanced Ice and Fire and more so there is always something to fight or explore.
They run weekly events with stuff like among us uno and poker. There are kingdoms custom quests crossover events with partnered servers and active staff that helps out. They also do constant updates and add requested mods from players.

Lucidia SMP is a 21+ modded survival server that is trying to feel like a DND campaign. The group will coordinate and plan and schedule main story events. Outside of that the story is made by the players and whatever choices they make.
The modpack is built for heavy fantasy and immersion. It has stuff like breweries and wineries and bakeries. There is medieval armor and medieval furniture. There are carts and wagons for traveling. It also has DND style races with perks and drawbacks plus identity cards and a thirst bar.
The server is still getting finishing touches and it plans to open in about 2 to 3 weeks. If you want a grown up community and big roleplay energy this one is aiming for that.

Bordered is a Vanilla plus survival server on 1.20.1 and it just opened this week. It feels like a normal Minecraft world but with a few big twists that make it way more intense.
The world border starts small at 500 by 500 and it grows every time a new player joins. That makes the start feel crowded and dangerous then it slowly opens up as more people show up.
It also has an origins system with lots of custom picks and the owner is still taking suggestions. The big mode is lifesteal where killing a player takes one of their hearts and gives it to you. If you die to the environment you do not lose hearts so fights matter the most.
You can play however you want like a fighter builder or redstone engineer and just try to survive and get stronger.
