The server aims to stay close to a vanilla Minecraft feel, using only plugins that do not take it far from the core game. Helix is an eighteen plus community that focuses on long term membership, without punishing players for periods of inactivity as long as they remain interested. The Factions system on MassiveCraft has evolved with custom features, rank creation, unique permissions, and in house extensions called Kingdoms and Sieges that let allied factions unite and wage large scale wars. PvP is enhanced with McMMO, custom MassiveRaces abilities, MCDuels KitPvP arenas, and a global ELO system for competitive combat. Roleplay takes place in the high fantasy world of Aloria, centered on the sprawling City of Regalia, where you can join guard charters, criminal gangs, noble families, businesses, and more, with the city changing based on player actions. The server also features regular staff run events, contests, and team based minigames on custom PvP maps. For adventure focused players, MassiveCraft offers an RPG quest experience on the island of Silverwind with custom mobs, puzzles, and branching stories, as well as Gauntlet Dungeons parkour where progressively harder challenges reward unique custom items as you advance.
