Loop de Loop is a fresh Towny server with a Vanilla plus style. It keeps things close to normal survival but adds extra systems to make it feel more fun as it grows.
Players get useful commands like teleport requests and homes and a back command. Land can be claimed so you can protect your builds and towns use the usual Towny tools.
McMMO is on so your skills level up while you play and higher levels unlock special abilities like instant mining. The economy uses a currency called Loops and you can earn it from jobs selling items voting and other basic server stuff.
There is a big shop with lots of items and you can sell items back for a percent. There is also an auction house so you can list your own items and choose the price.
Custom enchantments are included with a menu where you spend XP levels to get enchanted books. Loot crates exist but the keys are earned from voting and daily logins and not real money. The server is new so some planned features are still being worked on and they are taking suggestions.

Prosperia is an SMP that tries to feel alive and worth sticking with. It is built for long term play and it does not have a store. Progress is meant to be earned through time effort and creativity.
The world has custom terrain and custom structures so exploring actually feels rewarding. There are land claims so people can build peacefully and keep big projects going.
There are custom enchantments and you can disenchant too. Farming has deeper progression with PyroFarming and fishing has unique rewards with PyroFishingPro. There is also a custom dungeon with custom mobs for late game content and it has exclusive gear and strong rewards.
The server has systems that are progression based with no instant power jumps. You can use safari nets to move mobs around. There are rideable and flying pets. MCMMO is there for more leveling. You can do jobs for steady income and use an auction house in a player driven economy.
I also saw custom spawners auto crop planters and an upgradable hopper. The team is small and focused on steady updates and player feedback.

Crafters Universe is a new Minecraft Java survival server that is meant to last a long time. It feels built for people who like exploring and building and just hanging out without constant resets.
The world uses custom terrain so you can find different biomes and cool places to live. There are also separate resource worlds so you can gather materials without wrecking your main area.
It has a lot of extras like better fishing mining and farming plus advanced enchantments and skills with tougher mobs. You can do quests and jobs and even use BreweryX. There are backpacks elevators silk spawners mob catching and stacking and skulls for decorating.

Deadmans Land is a vanilla plus survival SMP that feels like constant war. People join to fight raid and take bases and nobody is going to protect you. If you cannot defend your stuff then it is not really yours.
PvP is always a thing here and full raiding is enabled so explosions and break ins are part of normal life. Griefing is not restricted so you can wipe a place and move on.
It also has custom enchantments so gear can go beyond normal vanilla. There are QOL enhancements too so you can play smarter and get ahead.
The server works for both Java and Bedrock players and it supports multiple versions. Staff is active and it is not pay to win so it is about skill and strategy.

Crown SMP is a new Java server for 1.21.8 and up and it is trying to pull in both players and staff.
The big thing here is player choice PvP. You can toggle PvP in the survival world so you decide when fights happen. There is also a separate PvP world where combat is forced so it feels more like risk vs reward.
Survival uses land claims so you can protect your builds. If you do not claim your land then it is fair game which makes smart building and planning matter.
There is a massive quest system with over 10000 quests so you can progress by playing and doing objectives at your own pace. Jobs are also a big part. You can earn money from mining farming building and more and there is leveling plus prestiges for long term progression.
The economy is meant to stay balanced with player run chest shops and lots of trading. There are also extra features like a mob arena custom enchants and redstone powered flight that uses fuel. Cosmetic rewards are part of progression too and the server has a survival world and a PvP arena world.

It skips the instant god kit style and it does not lean on crate spam to run the economy. The server is being built slow on purpose so balance can be adjusted during beta.
There is a massive custom terrain map made for wars with choke points and hidden areas. Dynmap is on so factions can scout and plan.

CaliCraft is a player run Minecraft server where the community shapes what happens. Every two weeks players elect an Emperor and that person can actually change the server. They can add or remove plugins across any gamemode make laws and even imprison people including staff.
If you get marked as a fugitive you can end up spawning in prison when you die. You can also get dragged in handcuffs if you get caught. The Emperor has to follow a Constitution but they can make temporary laws during their reign. Some laws can become permanent through a 3 day Discord poll.
There is a lobby first and it helps you jump into different gamemodes fast. The server supports versions 1.17.1 to 1.21.10 and it supports both Java and Bedrock.
The gamemodes include Modded Survival with custom enchantments skills jobs an auction house an economy custom dungeons and vote crates with epic gear. It is a claim world with a kingdom run by the Emperor. There is also Vanilla Survival with quests chest sorting and daily rewards. Skyblock is here too with classic islands and some addons.
There is also a Cobblemon mode on a separate Fabric server so you need the Cobblemon modpack installed. The server has a custom resource pack with unique mobs animals elites and dungeon bosses with special drops so it does not feel like plain vanilla.

CaliCraft is a player run democracy server based out of California and it has multiple gamemodes you can jump into from a lobby.
The big twist is the Emperor elections every two weeks. Players vote and the winner gets real power over the server. They can add or remove plugins across gamemodes and make laws and even imprison people including staff. If you get marked as a fugitive you can end up spawning in prison when you die or get dragged in if caught. The Emperor still has to follow a Constitution and temporary laws can happen during their reign. Some laws can turn permanent through a Discord poll.
