I found this SMP where the story starts after a whole world gets destroyed and you get thrown into a new universe. It feels like survival but the war still follows you so it stays tense.

When you first join you get power gems to start off. There is also a shop system you can use with the shop command.

You go in with a team in private 4 player instances and you fight multiple custom bosses. The last fight has progressive summons and it can overwhelm your group if you are not coordinated.
