WinterMC is a modded survival SMP that just launched a brand new world so everyone is starting fresh. It runs a big modpack with over 120 mods and it is built for players who want to build explore and mess around from day one.
The server has claim protection using FTB Chunks so your base stays safe and you can build without stressing about griefing. The world gen is custom and uses Regions Unexplored with bigger terrain like continents and islands so the map feels huge and pretty.
There are more structures to find like better dungeons strongholds mineshafts and cave biomes so exploring stays interesting. If you like machines you can do automation with Create plus Steam n Rails and extra addons for factories and railways.
Survival has more depth too with extra food and farming content like Farmer’s Delight Aquaculture 2 Vinery and Herbal Brews. It also has a lot of helpful mods like backpacks waystones JEI Corpse and simple voice chat so playing feels smoother.
The vibe is meant to be chill and relaxed with fewer pointless problems. You can grind build explore automate or just hang out.

I found this new modded SMP called Creativity SMP and it is a multi type server where you can play a lot of different ways.
You can build a nation or go solo and you can set up huge farms using Create with a bunch of addons. The only real limit is when your farms start making the server lag so the modpack is kept smaller to help with big builds.
It also has Valkyrian Skies and Eureka so people can make tanks airplanes and boats. The server is still new so the rules are not fully finished yet.
