Cozy MC is a simple survival world that feels like singleplayer but with a bunch of nice people around. There is no big fancy spawn or lobby. It just drops you into normal Minecraft and you start playing.

I found this server called the World of Salvaris and it feels like a big storybook world.
The map is split into seven different continents because of a server side mod that changes how the terrain generates. Each season everyone focuses their builds on just one continent but you can still go explore all the others if you want.
The goal of the server is to make the world feel alive. Every player can add their own stories and builds so the world slowly fills up with different ideas. It is more about world building and storytelling and less about rushing.
They just started season 2 less than two weeks ago so everything is still pretty new. Season 2 also has some extra server side mods that give better quality of life and there is a Christmas themed event starting soon.

This server feels like old Minecraft and I kind of love it. It runs an iron based economy so iron is like the money here. You can use it to open your own shop and sell blocks you have a lot of.
You can also start your own village if you save up 300 iron. When you get your village your blocks get protected so griefers do not wreck your stuff. It makes building a base or a whole town way less scary.
There is a simple chest lock system too. If you put a sign on the front of your chest it locks and keeps your items safe. That is really good for new players who do not want to get robbed.
The server has a wiki voting page and a live map on the website so you can read about things and see what the world looks like. The whole thing just feels super retro and kind of nostalgic like older versions of Minecraft when stuff was more chill.
The community is small right now so it can feel lonely but that also means there is a lot of space for new players to join and start villages. If you want that old school Minecraft feeling and a simple survival world with an iron economy this server is pretty perfect.
