Gilded Abyss is a modded SMP that is going into Season 2 and it is built around a medieval era kind of vibe.
When you join you slowly get placed into one of two groups and you get daily tasks as the season keeps going. The End stays closed at first and opens after a full week and then there is an event.
The world is made to be fun to explore with extra biomes and terrain from Biomes o Plenty and Terralith. You can also pick an Origin in game so your race matters for how you play.
There are special items you can earn in different ways and there are custom bosses for people who want hard fights. The Create mod is also in so you can build machines and automate stuff as long as it is reasonable.
They also want lots of player suggestions and they plan to run many events once the season starts. You get whitelisted through a ticket system where you talk with the owner or a moderator and if you seem like a good fit you get added.
