The server is always updated and right now it is on version 1.21.10. It has grief protection so staff can check what happened if something gets broken or stolen. That makes building big bases and cool projects feel way safer.
There is a live map with BlueMap so you can see the world from above and plan where to build. The server also has Simple VoiceChat and custom audio so talking and hanging out in game feels way more real.
Ordinary SMP has a custom resource pack with special cosmetics trophies and event rewards. The whole thing feels kind of like HermitCraft with players sharing ideas and working on community builds.
