The owner is trying to get the server to start but it keeps getting stuck and shows an error in the logs.

StinkyCraft SMP is a small survival server that is growing. Most days there are a few players on and the owner wants to keep it active for a long time. The world is not going to reset so your builds are meant to stay.
The server is Java 1.21.8 and it updates fast. There is no pay to win stuff so everyone plays fair. You can claim land to protect your bases and also choose to play risky if you want.
There is Simple Voice Chat so you can talk in game if you install the mod but it is not required to join. There are skills with AuraSkills so you can grind levels and unlock special abilities. You can also silk touch mob spawners with SmartSpawners and turn them into farms using a simple menu.
The server has an economy with a custom shop using a gui. There are pets and custom death messages which makes it more fun. You can vote to skip the night and there are daily voting rewards and monthly prizes for the top voter.
There is also a big world map that you can view from the top so you can see the 25000 by 25000 world and explore better. The server is looking for dedicated players who want to leave a mark on a long term world and keep coming back.

Stormy Lagoon SMP is a Minecraft survival world that works on both Java and Bedrock.
I joined and it feels like a small server where people can just play and chill. You can join on PC or on phone which is really nice because more friends can play together.
The server is set up as an SMP style world. You just join and start surviving and building with other players. There is not a bunch of extra info or crazy stuff so it feels simple and easy to understand.
If you want a crossplay SMP where Java and Bedrock can be in the same world then this server does that and keeps it pretty relaxed.

Prosperia is a survival multiplayer server that feels really alive. The world has custom terrain and custom structures so exploring actually feels exciting. It is not some crazy modpack. It keeps the survival feeling but has a bunch of quality of life stuff added.
The server uses land claims so your builds are safe. There is an earned progression system and MCMMO so you get stronger over time by playing. There are advanced enchantments and even disenchanting so gear can feel special.
The economy is player driven with jobs for steady money and also an auction house. There are custom spawners plus safari nets so you can move mobs around. You can get rideable and even flying pets which is really cool. There are auto crop planters and upgradable hoppers to help with farms and storage.
They never reset the main survival world. Only the separate resource world resets so your main base and long term projects are safe forever. That makes it feel like a place you can really settle down and build a story.
The people running Prosperia clearly put a lot of time into polishing everything. They care about community feedback and want long term stability. It feels like a tight knit and welcoming SMP where both new players and veteran builders can find a home.

Stonehaven SMP is a chill survival world that just had a fresh reset so everyone is still pretty new. It is a small server and players go at their own pace and are pretty welcoming so it feels calm and not sweaty.
The server runs on Minecraft 1.21.11 with Fabric and uses a few mods that make the game nicer without changing it too much. There is in game voice chat and land claiming so you can build without worrying about grief. Inside your own claim you can even fly which makes big builds way easier.
The world has revamped terrain and structures like Nether and End and villages and strongholds and mansions and temples so exploring feels more exciting. There are handy mods like Falling Tree to chop trees faster plus backpacks decorations custom bridges doors windows pavings lamps and more. This server is a towny survival world mixed with a kitpvp arena so it feels like two games in one. The main world is about building towns and claiming land with towny so players can make cool bases and whole communities.
There is also mcmmo and jobs so you level up skills and earn money just by playing. It feels like normal survival but with more progression because your abilities get better over time and you can get paid for the stuff you already like doing.
The kitpvp arena uses balanced kits so fights are about skill and not who spent more money. The owner is very clear there is no pay to win and the player shops and crates are set up to be fair instead of super overpowered.

This is a whitelisted survival server that feels like it is made for players who want to stay for a long time. The survival world never resets so everything you build can last.
You can earn in game money and use it to buy ranks that give you new perks. There is McMMO so you can level up different skills while you play. There are Jobs like miner fishing and digging so you can make money by doing normal Minecraft stuff.

MCVerse is a survival server made for really long term worlds. The main world is planned to last for many years so people can build huge projects without worrying about resets. There is no grief and players can come back after long breaks and still find their stuff safe.
The gameplay is almost vanilla but there are some helpful features. You can claim land to protect it. There are teleports and quality of life things. Builders get tools like armor stand tweaks mini blocks and decorative heads. There are player markets so you can trade to skip some of the grind or you can just play fully self made.
Chat is kept clean and public chat is mostly for Minecraft and gaming. Swearing is not really allowed. The community has people from different countries and a wide age range. Events are usually started by players and supported by the admins.
There are a few different experiences. There is a permanent long term survival world with a map claims markets clans and fishing contests. There is also a hardcore vanilla mode with no grief and bigger biomes. There is a vanilla no grief world that runs for around 6 to 12 months with very few plugins and small claims. For testing builds there are creative plots where you can experiment.
Ranks are earned just by playing and all perks are free. The server focuses on simple survival with some protection and collaboration tools so it still feels like vanilla but works well for long term SMP.
