Legends of Stonehaven is a new medieval fantasy RPG server that uses a big modpack. It feels like a full adventure game not just normal Minecraft.
The combat is totally different with cool animations and a dodge move so fights feel more intense. There is an in depth skill tree and origins so your character actually feels unique and strong when you level up.
The pack has custom weapons armor trinkets bosses origins and even divine blessings that are balanced around this server. Enemies get stronger the farther you explore so the world stays dangerous as you progress.
There are two main magic mods that give you a lot of utility in and out of combat. The overworld nether and end are all overhauled with new biomes so the world looks like a real fantasy adventure map.
You can find hundreds of new dungeons and structures plus there are five extra dimensions to discover. There are over 200 quests you can do alone or with friends and some of them add story and lore about the world. You can spend your hard earned coins in a quest shop for useful items.

Tinkers Tavern is an 18 plus Minecraft community that has been running for around two years and it feels really stable and relaxed.
The main world is a Vanilla plus SMP on version 1.21.10. It keeps the normal Minecraft feel but has helpful stuff like voice chat discord connection chunk claiming a map and small perks like limited random teleport for new players. You can join on a normal vanilla client and you do not have to install mods if you do not want to.
They also run a bunch of modded servers. There are two different Vault Hunters experiences including Wolds Vaults with a fresh season and new world. Realm of Aureus is a long term SMP style server that wants to feel like a home instead of a quick realm. It mixes normal open world survival with a heavy RPG vibe so it feels like you are in a story while you build your base and explore.
The server has a lot of custom content. There are unique bosses and dungeons you can fight through and you can use the terrain and boss weaknesses to win. There are over 500 custom items armors tools skills enchantments creatures and NPCs that are all made by the server team.

Avalon RPG is a Minecraft server that feels like a real MMORPG inside the normal survival world. You play as a guardian who has to defend Avalon from a great evil and you can either go solo or build up your own kingdom with other players.
The server has seven different classes like warrior mage rogue paladin summoner cleric and marksman. There are six story chapters with over two hundred quests and tons of npcs so there is always something to do. You can fight through dungeons and raid bosses and there are daily loot drops so boss fights actually feel rewarding.
