I found REGNUM and it feels like a long term survival world where the map does not reset and what you do actually sticks.
It sits between a vanilla SMP and a geopolitical roleplay server. People make the story by forming alliances starting conflicts doing deals and sometimes betraying each other.
The whole vibe is minimal laws and maximum consequences. Staff only steps in for basic boundaries so it does not turn into harassment and to keep things fair.
