Nation States is a new Minecraft server that is all about building nations and doing politics between players. It is semi vanilla and uses a towny style claiming system so players can make towns and bigger nations.
The theme is early antiquity and the world is a custom map that is about 5k by 5k in size. The server wants players to focus on roleplay lore and conflicts. You are meant to play like your nation is real and act in character.
The server is made to encourage nationbuilding diplomacy trade war and lots of interaction between players. It is supposed to feel competitive so one group cannot just stomp everyone forever.
There is also something called the spirit of the server. That means you should play in a way that fits the roleplay lore and conflict idea. If you ignore that and just try to ruin the experience you can be removed so people who follow the spirit can have fun.
You can join from both Java and Bedrock and even console players can get on by adding the special friend account. It is a crossplatform world where everyone meets on the same map and fights or talks it out.

I found this server called Ultimate Hardcore and it is actually really intense.
This server is real hardcore. There is no pay to win and no resets. You do not get to use alts. When you die you are totally done and your run is over.
It is a true vanilla survival server with very few rules. You cannot cheat but griefing is allowed and PvP is allowed. That means people can raid you and attack you and it still counts as fair.
In less than a month more than 2500 players already tried to survive on here. So there are a lot of bases ruins and stories all over the world.

This is a medieval themed survival multiplayer server where players make kingdoms and fight a lot. It is focused on player freedom and on pvp and on light roleplay if you want it.

Everbloom SMP is a semi survival world where everyone fights for their own stuff and nothing is really safe. It has a big overworld and nether with world borders so you still run into other players a lot.

Skyfall SMP is a new survival world that is split into two kinds of places. There is the normal overworld on the ground and then there is Skytopia which is like a floating sky land.
Everyone starts on the regular world which feels pretty average. You mine and survive like normal. But once a week there is a special event. Only people that gather the right materials can even join the event.
If you do really good in the event you can become a Skytopian. That means you get permanent access to the sky world made of clouds. Up there diamond veins can spawn in huge stacks so it is super rewarding if you manage to get in.
The server is not started yet but applications are open right now. The whole idea feels like a race to prove you are worthy and escape the ground world to live in the sky.

Eden is a long term Minecraft world that never resets so everything people build really matters for a long time.
The admins stay out of normal gameplay so players handle conflict and cooperation on their own. If someone causes problems or starts a war it is all solved with in game mechanics and not by staff.
There is a reinforcement system so you can make blocks doors and chests super tough. Griefing can still happen but it takes a lot of effort and risk.
The server also uses snitches that log what players do in certain areas. This lets groups collect proof instead of just guessing who did something.
There are no easy claim menus. Land is protected by planning teamwork bastion blocks and smart building instead of magic protection.
Progression comes from the environment. Ores appear as you mine and they depend on biome and height. Crops grow slow and in different ways in each biome and people use them in factories to make xp.
Factories and farms can keep running even when no one is near their chunks.
The economy is fully player run with ItemExchange. There are no server shops. Players already run shops and nations are working together on a big trade hub.
The community has been playing together in different long term worlds for almost ten years and right now the new world is fresh with a solid group online at peak times.
