Craftiverse is a 1.20+ factions server that tries to feel like the older style where you actually grind and work for your stuff. It is for people who do not want some crazy pay to win vibe.
I saw that the season just reset so the map is fresh. The progression is based around spawners with upgrades and there are custom enchants plus a different XP progression system. You can earn XP and then claim rewards from it.
Raiding is a big deal here with OG TNT mechanics and they do not allow gen buckets so bases have to be built the normal way. The Overworld Nether and End are all enabled.
There are KOTH and Outposts for competitive rewards and weekly FTOP payouts that reward the top 1 to 3 every Sunday. It also sounds like there are active factions and staff that are around a lot. Skyblock is coming soon too.

Kiri Network is a server I found that is trying to bring back the real classic HCF feeling. It is aimed at people who miss the old hardcore factions days with the grind and rivalries and big faction wars.
Right now the KitMap mode is open so you can hop on and get warmed up. OG HCF is coming soon and there is also a McTeams style soup server that is being developed.
The vibe is meant to stay simple and classic but still have modern features and events so old players and new players can both have fun.

The Overworld is open right away then the Nether unlocks after a set time and the End unlocks later too. They keep fights more grounded since netherite armor is disabled and End Crystals are not allowed and Respawn Anchors are not allowed. Diamond gear stays the main endgame tier.
PvP is expected and you can make temporary alliances but it sounds like solo players are the ones who really win. Hacked clients and exploit abuse are not allowed and you still have to follow basic conduct rules. Unlock timing announcements happen in the server so you need to pay attention.
