PurpleSMP is a simple survival server that tries to feel really calm and safe. It runs new Minecraft versions and is made for people who just want to build and chill without toxic players ruining stuff.

The server is PVE and has mcMMO so you can level skills and make grinding for resources feel more satisfying. There is land claiming so you can protect your base and even start a little empire if you want.

The economy is completely made by players with no server shops and no set currency. Players decide what has value by trading with each other.

PvP is off by default so you do not have to worry about random killing. If you want to mess around with friends you can toggle PvP on yourself.

The staff really focus on safety. Every block placed and broken is logged. Inventories are backed up when you join leave or die so staff can restore stuff if someone breaks the rules. There is also a strong anti cheat that alerts staff in Discord when someone trips it.

There is a server map you can view in a browser that looks like a map website so you can see the world from above. Everyone also gets a personal vault for extra storage when the inventory is not enough.

PurpleSMP started as a friends only world and later opened to the public so it feels small and relaxed instead of super crowded.
