    It uses a custom modpack made for multiplayer first. It has its own configs plus achievements and even a custom menu screen.

    You can make your own nation or join an existing country. People explore and find ruins from older player empires that fell before. You can also build safe havens for travelers if you want.

    The staff try to fix common GeoPol issues like lack of transparency by keeping the dev chats open. Toxic behavior is taken seriously so the community can stay chill.

    I found a survival civilization server that is all about politics that actually matter. It just opened early access and it wants founding players to start towns and shape the world.

    You can found a town and pick how it is run. There are five government types and each one changes costs like upkeep land claims and expansion. Some are cheap but you have to follow votes and some let you rule harder but it drains your treasury.

    Elections are a big deal because they use ranked choice voting. Your vote weight depends on how long you lived there how much gold you put into the treasury and if you have been active lately. There is also a cap so one person cannot take over everything.

    Towns build tension over time and it can lead to big problems. If things get bad impeachment petitions can start and residents can defect or towns can try to split away from their nation. You cannot just take power and go AFK.

    Nations can also siege enemy towns during scheduled weekend battle sessions. If you win you plunder the town and occupy it and take part of their daily resource production. The server runs on Java 1.21.6+ and it is on Folia.

    People can start their own nation or join another country. You can explore and find ruins from old player empires that already fell. You can also make safe places for travelers. A lot of the story is made by players.

    The server tries to fix common GeoPol problems like hidden staff decisions. The dev chats are open so it feels more transparent. The modpack is made for multiplayer first and they take toxicity seriously.

    Basquisimento is a Minecraft roleplay server where players try to simulate a real nation. It is a full democracy and it has a constitution plus a criminal code. The server has Judicial Legislative and Executive powers that are already set up.

    You can join to roleplay as stuff like a prosecutor a lawyer or a secretary in a department. It is run with a Minecraft server on Minehut and a Discord server where the laws and guidelines are kept.

    They also say no hate speech at all and they want it to be a safe place for everyone. If you are confused about anything you can ask questions and they will try to help.

    I found a server called Kyle SMP 2 and it has this mystery vibe around who Kyle is. They have lore and they are rewriting a lot of it right now so new characters are welcome.

    They usually play modded but they are doing vanilla for February and maybe longer. The server rules and any mod decisions get made by a council that players elect every month.

    After you have been around for one week you can run for the council too. The world is getting a fresh wipe tonight so it is a good time to jump in.

    They really push a fun friendly and safe community. The admins will ban people who ruin it. You have to be 15 or older to join.
