Rattata SMP is a new survival server that tries to stay really close to vanilla Minecraft. It is for mature players who are 18 and older and it supports both java and bedrock so more people can play together.
The rules are super simple. Do not grief and use common sense. That is pretty much it. The whole idea is to have people who just want to enjoy the game and slowly build a cool community.
The server runs on hard difficulty so mobs and survival are actually a challenge. There is no tp and there are no special loot tables or custom world generation. It is just basic vanilla gameplay so progress feels fair.
There is a live map you can check and only about a third of players have to sleep to skip the night. The server is whitelist only so you need to apply before you can join. The world is planned to open on December 26 so players can start fresh together.

Outlands is a semi vanilla SMP server that feels like a small town. It is made for players who want a long term world and a tight group of people to play with.
The server runs on version 1.21.10 and uses a greylist system. You can join and look around first and then you apply in game when you are ready. It is meant to be a safe place with no griefing no stealing and no toxic behavior.
The world has a player run trade economy and lots of community builds and player events. There is a world border so the map does not get reset all the time. There is also one player sleep and a sit command which keeps things simple and comfortable.
Outlands uses a custom resource pack that loads automatically and it is made to feel like those big YouTube SMPs. There is proximity voice chat and Discord chat integration so people can talk and hang out even when they are not all in the same place.
The staff team is active and helpful and they want the community to vote on server decisions and suggest ideas. The server aims for really good uptime and wants to be a long term home for creative and casual players.

The Homestead is a semi vanilla Minecraft survival server for players who are 18 and older. It is made for people who just want to relax after school or work and play some chill survival without a ton of plugins.
There is no TPA and no home commands. You play Minecraft in a simple way and travel by walking or other normal methods. It feels like classic survival where you actually explore the world.

This is a semi vanilla survival smp that focuses on community and chill gameplay. It feels like a classic survival server but with some helpful features.

Eden is a survival server that tries to feel like a real long term world where stuff actually matters. The map does not reset all the time so your builds and projects are meant to last.
Players can make nations and set up rules and run their own economy. There are no admin shops so trading between players is super important. You use chest shops to sell items and crops grow different in different biomes so towns end up needing each other.
Protection is not just some magic claim command. You use materials to reinforce your blocks so they take a ton of hits to break. Offline raiding is possible but really slow and risky so people have time to defend.
There are snitch blocks that record who walks through your base so you can see who visited. If someone griefs you you do not ping an admin. You hunt them down yourself and you can trap them using an exile pearl that sends them to the Nether as punishment until their time is done or someone frees them.
The community has a core group that has been playing together for around ten years and the server already has about twenty people online at peak times. It feels like the early days of a new civilization and now is when the history is just starting.

Prosperia is a semi vanilla survival server that feels really polished and calm. The whole idea is to make the world feel alive but still like normal Minecraft so it does not turn into some crazy modpack.
There is custom terrain and structures so exploring actually feels new and interesting. You can claim land to keep your builds safe and the main world never resets so your base is meant to be permanent. Only the resource world resets so you can always go there to gather stuff.
The gameplay is focused on balance and progression. There are advanced enchantments and you can disenchant gear. There is MCMMO for skill leveling and a jobs system so you can make steady money. There is also an auction house and a player driven economy so trading with other players really matters.

Sunset Retreat SMP is a seasonal vanilla plus server that is made for players who are 18 and older. It is based in the EU and it is whitelisted so the community stays calm and mature.
The server keeps the game mostly vanilla but adds a few quality of life things. There is voice chat so people can talk. There are mob and player heads. There is a diamond based economy with player run shops so players can trade stuff and services.

This server is called MineRealm and it is one of the longest running SMP servers I have seen. It has been online since 2010 and more than two hundred thousand players have joined over the years. The world is smaller at first and slowly expands so new land always uses the latest Minecraft version.
The gameplay is focused on survival and is fully legit. There is no pay to win and no item spawning. Everything you see was gathered and built by players. There are no fancy spawned in hubs or prefab structures so the whole world feels really player made.
MineRealm uses a classic plot system and grief protection so your builds stay safe. They have their own protection plugin and also use CoreProtect so griefing is not really a thing here. The server tries to stay close to vanilla but adds a few custom plugins to make community stuff and long term survival feel better.
Another cool thing is they do not reset the world. So if you build something big it will stay there for the long run. There is also public infrastructure already developed to help new and old players travel and grow.
Overall the community feels dedicated and welcoming and the server is made for people who like long term survival and a stable world that does not just restart all the time.
