The Garden SMP is a Java 1.21.11 survival multiplayer server that leans hard into worldbuilding adventure and roleplay. It is meant to feel relaxed but still give you optional challenges if you want them.
You start with 3 lives and the only way to lose them is through PvP. If you lose all 3 you become a ghost and you are the only one who knows what is beyond the veil. Players can still bring someone back using a craftable revival book.
Some vanilla stuff is turned off to fit roleplay better like Elytra and Ender chests so people build more infrastructure and interact more. I found Anarchy.ae and it is a long term vanilla survival world where you can do your own thing. The map does not do seasons and it does not reset so stuff can actually have history.
It is semi anarchy so there are no claims and no land protection. You can get into conflict and your base can be found. It is still moderated so it stays playable and fair and not just a grief only wasteland.
It is not pay to win and there are no kits or store advantages. It supports both Java and Bedrock and they try to keep crossplay fair by blocking certain exploits and unfair movement.
