I found a server that brought back an older name and started fresh again. It is survival with plugins and it keeps the game feeling like normal survival.
You can play pure survival while still having terrain protection. The economy is meant to be balanced so trading and buying stuff does not feel broken.
If you explore around you can find spawn egg trackers. Those let you buy drugs and some rare items which makes exploring feel worth it.
