MCVerse is a long term survival server where the world is meant to last for years. The goal is to let people build huge projects and be able to take long breaks without losing their stuff. There is no grief and no world reset plan so your base is safe for the long run.
The main survival is almost pure vanilla. There are claims, a map, player markets, clans and some helpful quality of life features. You can rank up for free just by playing and every perk on the server is earnable without paying. You can grind for your own gear or use the player shops to gear up faster if you want.
There is also a hardcore vanilla experience with no grief and boosted biomes plus a tools and testing area. The tools world has short to mid term vanilla style worlds and there are creative plots for testing builds and doing things like litematica pasting.
The community feels pretty chill and kind of international with players from teens up to older adults. Chat is kept clean with low tolerance for swearing and public chat is mostly for Minecraft and gaming topics. Events are created by players and supported by the admins.
Overall the server is for people who like survival worlds that actually stick around and want a safe place to build long term without chaos.

This is a Bedrock only whitelist SMP that is on season 2. It is built to feel kind of like Hermitcraft with a smaller and close community.
The server runs on hard difficulty and keep inventory is turned on so you can do big projects without losing everything. There are land claims to protect your builds and griefing is not allowed at all. They want people who already know how to follow normal rules and be respectful.
The world is hosted on a private dedicated server and the map is huge so everyone can spread out and build mega bases. Some players already have really huge and complex builds. If you want the world files or the server structure for your own builds they will share that with members so you can keep your stuff for later.
There are a few addons like mini blocks plushies and simple things like teleport to players and set home which makes moving around easier but it still feels like survival.
You have to get whitelisted and there is a short screening process so random griefers do not join. The server is for people who want a long term survival world and a trusted group to play with.

This is a vanilla SMP called NotHermitcraft and it is all about a chill community that feels kind of like Hermitcraft. They are starting Season 5 and they plan for it to last around two to three years so people have lots of time to build and make big projects.
The server has people from all over the world and the ages go from teens up to adults. There are builders and redstone nerds and people who like to role play. It sounds pretty welcoming to different kinds of players and different kinds of people.
They run Java 1.21.10 on a server in London and it is pure vanilla survival. They also keep their old Season 4 world as a separate sub server so you can go explore their history and even still build on it if you want.
The community hangs out a lot on Discord and they do extra events like Last Life style games UHC movie nights and party games. It sounds like there is usually something going on even if you are not on the Minecraft server.
