This is a hard survival realm where people want to build cool stuff and beat the ender dragon together.

Chilltown is a survival SMP that feels really relaxed but still has some challenge. The people on here seem friendly and it is meant to be an inclusive community where you can just hang out and play.

The server is all about adventuring and building. There are custom structures and custom biomes so the world looks different and has more cool places to explore and loot. They also do seasons. Every 90 days the terrain changes so the world feels more alive instead of the same old map forever.

It is not super easy though. The server tries to be unique and challenging without being too punishing. There are custom mobs and custom enchants so combat and gear are more interesting than normal vanilla.

You can claim land using a chunk based claiming system so you do not need a golden shovel. There is a community chest and a community discord server so it feels like people are meant to help each other and play together instead of griefing.

There is a daily rewards system to keep you logging in and the owner says there is a heavy focus on not being pay to win. So you can just play and earn stuff instead of needing to buy power.

If you want a chill place to play survival with seasons adventure and building this server seems like a good pick.

GG SMP is a survival Minecraft server that has a lot of extra stuff to make the game feel fresh. It uses Towny so you can make towns with your friends and build a base that actually feels safe.

There are custom items and skills you can grind using Auraskills. You fight bosses and level up your skills for rewards. The server has custom recipes and custom warps so getting around and crafting special things feels different than normal vanilla.

The economy is a huge part of the server. There is an in game shop where you grind items to sell for money. There is also an auction house where you can trade items with other players for even more money. Because of this the server feels really alive and the community feels busy all the time.

Server performance is strong and it keeps 20 TPS so the gameplay is smooth. There is discord linking too so you can chat from discord to the server and back. It makes it easier to stay connected with people even when you are not online in game.

If you like survival with towns skills bosses and a big economy then GG SMP feels like a good place to play.

Nova Network is opening a new SMP really soon and it looks different from the usual servers I see.

The server has custom mobs that make survival feel more intense. There are quests and daily quests so you always have something to do instead of just mining and building forever. You can level up skills and there is a custom battlepass and jobs so you can progress in a bunch of different ways.

They use in game voice chat so people can actually talk while they play which makes it feel more like a real community. The server supports both Java and Bedrock so a lot more players can join and play together.

There are already over 200 people in their community getting ready for launch and they are still growing. They are also looking for staff before the server goes live so if you want to help run a new SMP this looks like a good time to start on day one.
