    You do not just chill and farm forever. You are pushed to build automation if you want to keep going long term and progress can feel slow compared to other modded servers.

    The big twist is that players can have superpowers and they are not balanced on purpose. That means there is a real hierarchy and power struggles are part of the point.

    Improv roleplay is expected and the story is community driven with mystery and hidden progression. It is not beginner friendly and you should be ready for competition and conflict. You have to apply to join and it is aimed at North America with EST in mind.

    I found a brand new SMP that is the total opposite of chill. The whole point is drama conflict and real consequences. The world is bordered so players get pushed close together and towns end up right next to rivals.

    There is no world protection at all and everything is player enforced. If your town lives it is because you defended it and if it falls that is on you.

    People are expected to form clans make alliances and then break them fast. Raids revenge grudges and public betrayals are normal and players will remember what you did.

    It is not pay to win and it has a hard cap of 35 players. Whitelist is required and it supports 1.16 to 1.21.11.

    Bordered War SMP With Real Consequences

    This server is a brand new survival SMP and it is not chill at all. The whole idea is drama conflict and power and it feels like everything you do will come back later.

    The world has a border so everyone ends up living close together. Towns can pop up right next to enemies and that makes alliances happen fast then fall apart even faster.

    There is no world protection here. Everything is player enforced so if your town survives it is because you defended it. If it falls that is on you.

    It is hard capped at 35 players so it stays personal and your name actually matters. Whitelist is required. Versions supported are 1.16 to 1.21.11.

    The world has a 10000×10000 border so players are closer together and fights can happen more.

    The End is locked and there are only 2 maces. There are usually like 8 to 10 players so it feels chill but you can still run into people.

    This is a vanilla style SMP that just reset and uses amplified terrain. Right now everyone is crammed inside a 2k by 2k world border so bases are really close. You see tiny starter bases popping up everywhere and players starting to plan shops and trades.

    The community feels active and busy. People hang out in the discord and talk about deals for items and building spots. They share screenshots of the crazy amplified hills and cliffs and the chat is always moving when new people join.

    The rules are pretty strict in a good way. No griefing no stealing and no unconsented PvP. No racism or hate speech and no NSFW stuff. Everyone is supposed to be mature respectful and keep things drama free. It really feels like a place where people just want to build and hang out.

    To get on the server you apply first then if you get accepted you get added to the whitelist. It makes the world feel safer since not just anyone can log in. This is season 2 and they already have photos from a previous season so it seems like a long term world.

    If you want a close community with amplified terrain and a fresh reset this server looks really fun.
