PeaMC is a pure survival server that feels like old Minecraft. There is no teleport command and no land claims so you actually have to travel and explore the world. It feels a lot like singleplayer but with other people around you.

The server is crossplay so both Java and Bedrock players can join on versions from 1.7x up to 1.21.11. There are teams you can form with friends so you can build bases and travel together. PvP is allowed so you do have to watch your back but it is not a full anarchy server.

The community is pretty chill and friendly. The owner and mods are active both in game and in Discord so the server does not feel abandoned. There are not a bunch of in your face plugins so the gameplay stays close to classic vanilla survival.

There are clear rules. Hacks and exploits are not allowed. Harassment and slurs are not allowed. Griefing and stealing are not allowed either so you cannot destroy other bases kill pets or loot peoples chests. Spawn killing is also not allowed. Destructive PvP like using respawn anchors end crystals or minecart explosions is banned because it can ruin builds.

If you like walking everywhere exploring naturally and building in peace while still having some PvP danger PeaMC feels like a good fit.

This server feels like going back in time to when Minecraft was way more simple. It runs on version 1.13 and the owner is trying to copy the old console edition vibe.

The world is only 1000 by 1000 so resources are limited and everyone has to share and fight over stuff. You can do PVP here but you are not supposed to act like a total jerk about it.

There are some basic rules. No racism no homophobia and no weird sexual stuff is allowed. The server is supposed to be open 24 7 and it can hold up to 20 players at a time.

It is a small island type world and it feels like a simple chill place for people who miss the older days of Minecraft.

This server is called BareBonesMP and it has a special Hardcore Plus world with custom health. Every time you die you lose one heart and you can go all the way down to only 3 hearts. To get your hearts back you have to craft a Heart Crystal with an echo shard and a diamond block.

If you use a Heart Crystal you restore one heart and you can even go above the normal 10 hearts up to 20 hearts. These extra hearts are temporary. When you take damage the extra hearts disappear first and you will not get them back unless you use another Heart Crystal.

The Hardcore Plus world is basically vanilla. There are no teleport commands and all normal block damage is turned on like fire spread and creeper explosions. Stealing and griefing are not allowed so it is not an anarchy server.

There is also a main vanilla SMP server and the community has been around since 2019. People say it feels like a classic hermitcraft style server and it is whitelisted and close knit. There are community events every weekend and mayor elections every month.

The server has an active discord and a dedicated machine so it runs with no lag. It uses a few quality of life plugins like sleep tweaks and leaderboards and stuff like that. There is optional proximity voice chat and in game chat is linked with discord so people can talk even when they are not online in Minecraft.

PeaMC is a pure survival server that feels like old school Minecraft. When I joined it looked and played like classic survival with no crazy plugins in your face. You just join and start surviving.

There is no teleporting at all so you actually have to walk or sail or ride to get around. It makes the world feel big and adventures feel more real. There are no land claims so building feels like singleplayer. You just pick a spot and build.

The server is vanilla style so there are no plugins that change how survival works. You can make teams and invite your friends so you are not alone. PvP is allowed so you can fight other players if you want.

This server is called MineRealm and it is one of the longest running SMP servers I have seen. It has been online since 2010 and more than two hundred thousand players have joined over the years. The world is smaller at first and slowly expands so new land always uses the latest Minecraft version.

The gameplay is focused on survival and is fully legit. There is no pay to win and no item spawning. Everything you see was gathered and built by players. There are no fancy spawned in hubs or prefab structures so the whole world feels really player made.

MineRealm uses a classic plot system and grief protection so your builds stay safe. They have their own protection plugin and also use CoreProtect so griefing is not really a thing here. The server tries to stay close to vanilla but adds a few custom plugins to make community stuff and long term survival feel better.

Another cool thing is they do not reset the world. So if you build something big it will stay there for the long run. There is also public infrastructure already developed to help new and old players travel and grow.

Overall the community feels dedicated and welcoming and the server is made for people who like long term survival and a stable world that does not just restart all the time.

This server is called CityCraft and it is a vanilla survival world that feels really classic and slow.

Everyone plays in one big jungle biome and the whole place is built like a real city. You do not just build anywhere. You get a plot with diamonds at the Town Hall and build inside the walls. So the city does not look random and messy. It looks planned and neat.

There is a Town Hall where people talk about projects and vote on big stuff like when to update and how the city should grow. Updates to new versions happen slowly and only when players agree.

The rules are pretty strict. You have to be 18 or older. It is full vanilla survival. No griefing no cheating and no stealing. You have to respect other players.

I think it is good for players who like long term worlds and want to help build one organized jungle city together.

This server is called MODMIX Factions and it feels like old school factions but updated. It is made for players who like to grind fight and build real bases.

You can raid with TNT and obsidian does not last forever so no base is unraidable. There are normal faction land claims but you always have to watch your defenses.

There is a MCMMO style skill system so you level up stuff like swords mining and acrobatics as you play. You can do duels use player vaults and stack spawners to farm better.

You earn your rank by playing and using XP in game money and your skills. It runs on the latest Minecraft version 1.21.8 and you can join on Java or Bedrock.

Overall it feels like classic factions brought into modern Minecraft and it seems aimed at players who want pvp grinding and serious base building.

Determinacy is a Minecraft server that is all about no rules and pure vanilla.

The world started in June 2020 and the idea is to keep it going for a really long time. It is not trying to be some huge server. It feels more like a world that just stays up so players can do whatever they want.

There are no rules here so PvE and PvP both just happen. You can play calm or you can fight other players and there is nobody stopping you. It feels like how Minecraft was first meant to be played with no limits from server owners.
