I found a vanilla anarchy survival server that is trying to feel like old school Minecraft where you just live with whatever happens.
It is a no rules world with PvP on and raiding and griefing allowed. There are no land claims and no teleporting so you have to travel and survive the normal way.
The world is meant to be long term with no resets and no admin interference. It started in June 2025 so it is still kind of fresh and you can actually leave a mark.
It is hosted on dedicated hardware in Australia for low lag for Australia and New Zealand players. It is open to everyone with no whitelist and there is no monetisation or pay to win stuff and they do not ask for donations.

I found a semi anarchy Minecraft server that is trying to keep survival feeling like real Vanilla. It started on October 11th 2024 and it is hosted in New York City. The world is meant to last since there are no map resets.
You can join on Java from 1.7.2 up to 1.21.11 and they recommend 1.21.10 to avoid issues. The world border is huge at 2 million blocks so you can travel far and still find space.
PvP and griefing are allowed and there is no pay to win. There is no teleporting and the only command they allow is /spawn so people far out can get back to civilization. Nether roof access is allowed. Phantoms are removed and only half the players are needed to skip the night.
