Lords Of Soot is a 1.16.5 Survival Server primarily focusing on light geopolitical roleplay; and using that as a framework for large-scale, cooperative projects, including sprawling seaports, realistic airports, and a server-spanning railway network. Beyond this; LoS features several player-ran nations; each with distinct governing and building styles, with more able to be created. All this plays out on a large-scale Terraforged map, featuring stunning rivers, mountains and vistas. LOS’s modpack is large, but well-optimized – the minimum RAM to consistently run the pack is 6gb, the minimum to load it is 4gb.
Lords Of Soot’s modpack primarily consists of Immersive Engineering and Create. Further developing industry is a customized version of Mekanism. For transportation, we have Immersive Railroading with several packs and Immersive Vehicles – and in case wars must be fought, you can use Timeless and Classic guns to fight them! If you desire a quieter life, we have several cooking, agriculture, and decorative mods, too!
Lords Of Soot currently features 5 nations; ranging from 3 to over 10 players, and differing in prevailing building style from sprawling, glittering cityscapes to grungy New England waterfronts to concrete-paneled Socialist Brutalism; all of which are friendly and more than willing to take new players into the fold.
We’ve had a storied 4-year history; with wars, nations that have risen and fallen, and spanning over 2 versions.
