This server is called PGMC World and it has three different ways to play. You can go on a survival server if you want the normal Minecraft adventure. Cherry Block is a small smp server that feels like a relaxed home in Minecraft. It has a really friendly and tight community and people seem to actually talk and hang out instead of just rushing everything.

Anarchy Network is a semi anarchy server that tries to feel like normal vanilla survival but with barely any rules. It launched in October 2024 and it runs all the time on a world with a huge border.
You can join on a lot of Java versions and they recommend using 1.21.10 so stuff does not break. There are no map resets so everything you do will stay unless another player blows it up.
This server allows full pvp and griefing so you really have to watch your back. There is no teleporting at all and there is no pay to win shop. The only command you get that is not vanilla is spawn so people super far away can still get back to others.
They also let you use the nether roof and they removed phantoms and only half the players are needed to skip the night which makes survival a bit less annoying.
Even though it is semi anarchy there are still a few rules. You cannot use exploits or dupes or lag machines and you cannot spam or use harassment or racial slurs in chat. So the server is chaotic but not totally toxic.

Foggy Willows is a really strict vanilla survival server. It runs on the normal minecraft server jar with no plugins and no datapacks. It feels like playing single player but with other people around.
There is no special spawn full of signs and there is no weird hub. You just join and start surviving. The world has no border so you can walk as far as you want and build anywhere.
The server is hard mode and there is no teleport or sethome. You have to travel by walking or using nether tunnels or whatever you can make. Players are expected to handle their own problems so there is not a lot of hand holding.
Technical players are welcome and can mess with farms and redstone if they want. There are no donations or pay to win stuff. It is always running the latest stable vanilla version and is self hosted on a machine made for this.

This server feels like old Minecraft and I kind of love it. It runs an iron based economy so iron is like the money here. You can use it to open your own shop and sell blocks you have a lot of.
You can also start your own village if you save up 300 iron. When you get your village your blocks get protected so griefers do not wreck your stuff. It makes building a base or a whole town way less scary.
There is a simple chest lock system too. If you put a sign on the front of your chest it locks and keeps your items safe. That is really good for new players who do not want to get robbed.
The server has a wiki voting page and a live map on the website so you can read about things and see what the world looks like. The whole thing just feels super retro and kind of nostalgic like older versions of Minecraft when stuff was more chill.
The community is small right now so it can feel lonely but that also means there is a lot of space for new players to join and start villages. If you want that old school Minecraft feeling and a simple survival world with an iron economy this server is pretty perfect.
