Viking Factions OG is a classic factions server that is trying to feel like the old days but it runs on Minecraft 1.21.4+. The big deal here is the combat. It uses 1.8 style pot PvP so fights are more skill based.
It is not pay to win and the ranks are cheap and not overpowered. Raiding is a huge part of it with complex style cannoning. There is even an in game cannon schematics creator so you can design and build cannons without any client side mods.
There is a dedicated bunkers world for base raiding. You can also do custom dungeons for unique loot. If you like proving yourself there are ranked duels with ELO.
