I found a semi vanilla SMP server that is all about survival with a strong community vibe and lots of building and trading.
It uses a diamond based economy so players trade with diamonds and run their own shops. There is also a shops GUI so it feels easy to browse what people are selling.
You can protect your builds with land claiming using golden shovels. The server is PvE focused with no griefing and it does not use keep inv.
It supports Java and Bedrock crossplay so more friends can join. There is a live world map you can look at in your browser and separate resource worlds so the main world stays cleaner.
There are ranks and vote rewards and the server runs active events with weekly stuff to do.
